With the rising popularity of the Air Jordan 1 Mid, Jordan Brand is creating a slew of new colorways that we haven't seen on other AJ1 silhouettes yet. One of these colorways is the 'Light Orewood Brown'. This colorway made its debut on the mid-height model.
 
Unlike most of the models, the base of the upper of this Air Jordan 1 Mid is made of nylon. The colour on the toebox and on the side panel is light beige. Despite the use of various materials, the Swoosh and overlays are made of leather. The overlays and collar are in black, just like the Swoosh. The heeltab and the overlay around the collar have been given a striking red colour. The red colour changes tone with light.
